The Authentic Beauties Mentorship Program has expanded in certain states to include Gems (boys) as well as Jewels (girls), focusing on teens, but includes ages 5-17. Our goal is empowering youth and encouraging them to find their “authentique” self, to use their creativity, to dream big and believe that beauty comes in all shapes, sizes and colors.
The Mentorship Program participants engage in empowerment activities that help build interpersonal, social, leadership and life-skills. The Jewels and Gems, participate in monthly group activities and community service projects. The participants become Authentique Brand Ambassadors and receive crowns and sashes at the annual Authentique Beauties Tea as well as a reward for achievements. They serve as Brand Ambassadors (being responsible for recruiting potential Jewels and Gems,) as well as representatives of the Authentique Beauties Brand at community events and activities for a period of 1 year.
